In November, we presented at the Water Industry Workshop on Customer Engagement in London. The event was organised by Thames Water, the Consumer Council for Water and Water UK and explored new methods to engage different consumer groups.
Liz Barker and Kat Slater, Global Head of BE Intelligence & Networks and Associate Director at TBA London respectively, spoke about the value of using qualitative research inspired by behavioural science to better understand customers and looked at how behavioural science was solving some of the challenges that the the water industry are facing.
For example, behavioural economics is already being applied by providers to help consumers be more mindful about their water consumption and save water.
